This 24 night 25 day package tour gives you a wonderful experience of Nepal from the Himalayan zone to the sub-tropical lowlands of the Terai. The three week trek around the Annapurna massif is one of the best and most popular treks in the Himalayas, it passes through country populated by diverse peoples and through the dramatic Kali Gandaki gorge. The trek offers some spectacular mountain scenery to the north of the main Himalayan range on the high and dry Tibetan plateau. Following the trek is a safari in the Chitwan National Park, located in the Terai lowlands of Nepal and then finishes with sightseeing around the Kathmandu Valley.

Day 1 :
Day One

<p>Meet at airport, transfer to the hotel </p><p>Refresh, lunch and rest </p><p>5: 30 pm- Introduction to Nepal and review of trip itinerary</p>

Day 2 :
Day Two

<p>6: 30 am- Breakfast </p><p>7: 00 am- 7 hour drive to Besisahar 170km from Kathmandu </p><p>1: 00 pm- Lunch on the way </p><p>5: 30 pm- Overnight at hotel in Besisahar </p><p>6: 30 pm- Dinner at hotel.</p>

Day 3 :
Day Three

<p>6: 30 am- Breakfast </p><p>7: 00 am- Start of the trek. The trail begins with a small descent before climbing up to Khuldi at 790m; many ' Gurkha' soldiers serving in the British army are Gurung people from Khuldi. Some excellent views of Himalchuli and peak 29 Ngadi Chuli can be seen as it climbs to Bhulbhule at 825m, and from here it continues through Ngadi before reaching Lampata at 1135m and then up short climb to Bahundanda at 1310m.</p><p>1: 00 pm- Breakfast </p><p>5: 30 pm- Overnight at hotel in Bahundanda </p><p>6: 30 pm- Dinner at hotel.</p>

Day 4 :
Day Four

<p>6: 30 am- Breakfast </p><p>7: 00 am- Today the trail begins by descending sharply to Syange at 1070m, it then crosses the Marshyangdi River where the path follows the river edge to Jagat village before ascending through the forest to Chyanje at 1400m.</p><p>1: 00 pm- Lunch Break </p><p>5: 30 pm- Overnight at hotel in Chyanje </p><p>6: 30 pm- Dinner at hotel. </p>

Day 5 :
Day Five

<p>6: 30 am- Breakfast </p><p>7: 00 am- The day begins with a walk beside the Marsyangdi River and then from here we climb up to Tal at 1675m. The first village that the trail passes is in the Manang district. The path crosses a wide, flat valley and up a stone stairway to 1860m, followed by another short climb up to Dharapani at 1890m before traveling to the north and Bagarchapp at 2160m.</p><p>1: 00 pm- Lunch Break </p><p>5: 30 pm- Overnight at hotel in Bagarchhap </p><p>6: 30 pm- Dinner at hotel.</p>

Day 6 :
Day Six

<p>6: 30 am- Breakfast </p><p>7: 00 am- From Bagarchhap the trail climbs through rough and rocky terrain up to Tyanja at 2360m, and through forest to Kopar at 2590m. After this there is a short climb up to Chame at 2685m, Chame is the headquarters of the Manang District, and from here the mountain views are fantastic especially those of Annapurna II</p><p>1: 00 pm- Lunch break </p><p>5: 30 pm- Overnight at hotel in Chame </p><p>6: 30 pm- Dinner at hotel.</p>

Day 7 :
Day Seven

<p>6: 30 am- Breakfast </p><p>7: 00 am- The start of todays trek takes you through deep forest in a vertical and narrow valley. The, this is followed by a On the climb up to Pisang at 3300m, the highlight of the day is seeing the Paungda Danda rock face which soars above the trail.</p><p>1: 00 pm- Lunch break </p><p>5: 30 pm- Overnight at hotel in Pisang </p><p>6: 30 pm- Dinner at hotel.</p>

Day 8 :
Day Eight

<p>6: 30 am- Breakfast </p><p>7: 00 am- The trail here passes the drier, upper part of the Manang district which is cut off from the full effect of the monsoon rains by the Annapurna Range. The people of this area herd yaks and farm crops for part of the year. The trail continues on through Mungji pass to Manang at 3535m.</p><p>1: 00 pm- Lunch break </p><p>5: 30 pm- Overnight at hotel in Manang</p><p>6: 30 pm Dinner at hotel. </p>

Day 9 :
Day Nine

<p>Today is set aside for acclimatisation </p><p>6: 30 am- Breakfast </p><p>7: 00 am- Day walk up above the village, reaching a higher altitude and seeing the superb scenery before coming back down to Manang for the night. </p><p>1: 00 pm- Lunch break </p><p>5: 30 pm- Overnight at hotel in Manang </p><p>6:30 pm- Dinner at hotel</p>

Day 10 :
Day Ten

<p>6: 30 am- Breakfast </p><p>7: 00 am- Today the ascent is up to nearly 2000m, to Thorung La pass. From Manang the trail climbs sharply through Tengi, in the Jarsang Khola valley. The vegetation becomes gradually thinner as you reach Ledar at 4250m. </p><p>1: 00 pm- Lunch break </p><p>5: 30 pm- Overnight at hotel in Ledar </p><p>6: 30 pm- Dinner at hotel</p>

Day 11 :
Day Eleven

<p>6: 30 am- Breakfast </p><p>7: 00 am- The trail climbs down to cross the river at 4310m before ascending again to Phedi at 4420m.</p><p>1: 00 pm- Lunch break </p><p>5: 30 pm- Overnight at hotel in Phedi </p><p>6: 30 pm- Dinner at hotel.</p>

Day 12 :
Day Twelve

<p>6: 30 am- Breakfast </p><p>7: 00 am- The day begins by hiking sharply upwards for about four hours to the pass where the climb is rewarded with amazing views. Following the climb there is a steep drop in the path of some 1600m to Muktinath.</p><p>1: 00 pm- Lunch break </p><p>5: 30 pm- Overnight at hotel in Muktinath </p><p>6: 30 pm- Dinner at hotel.</p>

<p>6: 30 am- Breakfast </p><p>7: 00 am- The day begins with a sharp descent through a desert landscape, passing streams, meadows and villages with some superb scenery of Jomsom.</p><p>1: 00 pm- Lunch break </p><p>5: 30 pm- Overnight at hotel in Jomsom </p><p>6: 30 pm- Dinner at hotel</p>

<p>6: 30 am- Breakfast </p><p>7: 00 am- The trail descends through backstreet passages and tunnels between the houses of Khobang village and Tukche Thakali village. This was once the meeting place for traders from Tibet, and from here the landscape changes as you go back down and leave the drier desertlike country of the past few days behind. Day 15 :
Day Fifteen

<p>6: 30 am- Breakfast </p><p>7: 00 am- Another sharp descent through forests and villages with superb views of the western flanks of Dhaulagiri. Following this we continue descending down through the Kali Gandaki gorge, the deepest in the world, before reaching Taatopani</p><p>1: 00 pm- Lunch break </p><p>5: 30 pm- Overnight at hotel in Tatopani </p><p>6: 30 pm- Dinner at hotel</p>

Day 16 :
Day Sixteen

<p>6: 30 am- Breakfast </p><p>7: 00 am- The trail again begins with a decent and then a walk alongside the Kali Gandaki River, through extensive terraced hills before a gradual climb up to Ghorepani at 2775m.</p><p>1: 00 pm- Lunch break </p><p>5: 30 pm- Overnight at hotel in Ghorepani </p><p>6: 30 pm- Dinner at hotel</p>

<p>6: 30 am- Breakfast </p><p>7: 00 am- Another long day of descending through oak and Rhododendron forests to a large Magar village and on a much steeper descent to Tikhedhunga.</p><p>1: 00 pm- Lunch break </p><p>5: 30 pm- Overnight at hotel in Tikhedhunga </p><p>6: 30 pm- Dinner at hotel.</p>

<p>6: 30 am- Breakfast </p><p>7: 00 am- Last day of trek. Beginning with a climb down to Bhurung Kholaand from here passing through Birethante and down to the Modi Khola before a final descent into Naudanda. From here it is a short drive back to Pokhara.</p><p>1: 00 pm- Lunch break </p><p>5: 30 pm- Overnight at hotel in Pokhara </p><p>6: 30 pm- Dinner at hotel.</p>

Day 20 :
Day Twenty

<p>6: 30 am- Breakfast </p><p>7: 00 am- Five hour drive to the Chitwan National Park </p><p>1: 00 pm- Welcome drink </p><p> Check in hotel, lunch and rest </p><p>3: 00 pm- Sightseeing visit to a Tharu village </p><p>5: 30 pm- Sunset views from the river bank with drinks and snacks </p><p>6: 30 pm- Dinner at hotel.</p>

<p>6: 30 am- Breakfast </p><p>7: 00 am- Half day excursion, including a canoe trip and Jungle walk inside the Chitwan National Park, exploring riverine forest and grassland. It is possible to see numerous wildlife including, the endangered greater one-horned rhino, the Gharial crocodile and the elusive Bengal tiger.</p><p>12: 00 pm- An exciting new addition to the programme bathing with elephants </p><p>1: 00 pm- Lunch at hotel </p><p>3: 00 pm- Elephant walk in search of wildlife </p><p>5: 30 pm- Sunset views from the river bank with drinks and snacks </p><p>6: 30 pm- Dinner with special dancing performed by the indigenous Tharu people.</p>
